RISE/NOFIRNO and RISE/ULTRA are fire safe as well as gas and water tight systems. The systems are tested on full scale bulkheads and decks in accordance with IMO Res. A.754(18). To obtain the required watertightness no compression is needed. The system has no metal parts thus avoiding corrosion on the pipe work. The perfect sealing of the NOFIRNO sealant also avoids (invisible) corrosion within the penetration.

RISE/NOFIRNO is tested according to IMO Resolution A.754(18) and approved water tight. EC (MED) certificates according to the European Union Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment have been issued by Det Norske Veritas.
RISE/NOFIRNO is tested and classified for heavy duty A0 and H0 single and multi-pipe transits without any kind of insulation!
The system is also approved for multi-all-mix pipe/cable penetrations.
For application in building and construction RISE/NOFIRNO is classified according to EN 13501-2:2003 up to E120/EI120.

RISE/ULTRA can be used for single and multi-plastic pipe penetrations. Combined with NOFIRNO sleeves the RISE/ULTRA system is also suitable for transits carrying both plastic and metal pipes. The RISE/ULTRA system has been successfully tested (> 120 minutes) in conformity with EN1366-3:2004 and is classified according to EN 13501-2:2003 for fire class E120 (flame resistance) and EI120 (flame resistance and thermal insulation). EC (MED) certificates according to European Union Council Directive 96/98 EC on Marine Equipment have been issued by Det Norske Veritas.
